Satıcının Ölümü (Death of a Salesman)

2026 · Zorlu PSM Production · Costume Production Assistant

This modern production of Arthur Miller’s 1949 masterpiece, directed by the award-winning British director Rufus Norris, brings the socio-economic collapse of 1940s America and the disillusionment of the “American Dream” to the stage through rigorous period accuracy in costume design.

As Costume Production Assistant, my role was to help bridge Katrina Lindsay’s international design vision with Gül Sağer’s production execution, analyzing 1940s tailoring, managing period-specific fabric textures, and supervising the fabric distressing and patina processes that reflect each character’s psychological wear.

For the historic gala hosted by Koç Holding to celebrate the Centennial of the Republic of Türkiye, an authentic 1920s dance performance was curated, Waltz, Charleston and period ballroom, tailored for high-mobility choreography.

My contribution centered on historical fabric curation: analyzing the weight, texture and movement of 1920s textiles so that fringe, beadwork and silhouettes could withstand rigorous dance routines under intense stage lighting, while managing the full pipeline between the design studio and master tailors.
